The Downtown Development Association of Lincolnton (DDA) is a 501(c)3 development organization, established in 1990 to facilitate the successful and sustainable revitalization of Lincolnton’s historic commercial district. The DDA is volunteer-driven and self-sustaining. As a whole, they work to restore the downtown district through revitalization projects, hands-on support of local businesses and procurement of new potential businesses through venture capital grants. The DDA is also a major component of communication between the city, business owners, potential businesses and the public – bringing people together for the betterment of this Historic town.
addition to bringing people together in the heart of Downtown
Lincolnton for fun and awareness, events like the Lincolnton Food, Wine
& Brew Fest financially support the organization and its ongoing
efforts for revitalization. As mentioned, the DDA is self-sustaining and
relies on outside donations and contributions.
Sponsorship makes a DDA event possible and an immediate success while boosting vitality and enabling restoration in the town – resulting in a positive, long-term impact on the larger surrounding region. Net funds directly fund the ongoing, volunteer-driven, revitalization efforts of the organization. Event sponsorship goes a long way!
